Ottawa Wedding Videography Packages – 2018

Thanks for considering us to be a part of your wedding day for photography and videography. Our team is able to shoot both photo and video for you, however in this video I’m going to go over our ‘Wedding Film Packages’ for you.

I’d like to break down exactly what’s included in all of our packages from the 8 hour film packages and the 12 hour film packages with 2 videographers.

We have 4 main packages for you to choose from:

1. Highlights Film

2. First Kiss

3. Love Story

4. Cloud Nine

The Highlights Film is shot with 1 videographer for 8 hours.  This film is about 8 – 12 minutes long after we edit it. So essentially it’s a Highlight of your entire wedding day. I’ve found that a good time with this package is to schedule the shooting times from 2pm to 10pm at night. You can choose to start the coverage at the ceremony which could start at 2pm and go until the dance party at 10pm. If your ceremony starts earlier or if you’d like some getting ready shots then you can always add extra hours at the beginning or at the end of day. Below this video they’ll be a link with a detailed video going into how we shoot the Highlights film for you and it’ll give you a clearer picture of what this film looks like.

The second package option is called First Kiss. It’s shot with 2 videographers for 8 hours. In this package you get a Highlights film that’s 8 – 12 minutes long plus you get the Full Ceremony edited between 2 camera angles and the full speeches edited between 2 camera angles. This package is also for 8 hours and goes until the end of your first dances or until the start of your dance party at night. Again you can always add extra hours to the package if you want more coverage.

 The third package we have is our most popular option and it’s the Love Story film. It’s shot with 2 videographers for 12 hours. One of the biggest advantages to choosing this package is that not only do we shoot for 12 hours but you also get a short edited 3-5 minute Music Video. This is the short video you see displayed on our website and it’s the best thing to share online so your friends and family can see your wedding again. In this package you get 4 main sections which are 1) Wedding Film 2) Ceremony 3) Speeches and 4) Music Video.

The extras we add in this package are also a full Getting Ready Scene and the Dance Party Scene that go into your main Wedding Film. The main Wedding here is not like a Highlights film that’s just 8-12 minutes long but it’s anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes long. But the length of the film all depends on the what’s going on your wedding day.

The fourth package we have is our most inclusive option and it gives you the most – it’s called Cloud Nine. It’s shot with 2 filmmakers for 12 hours and you get everything from the last package including the Full Wedding Film, Ceremony, Speeches and Music Video plus a lot of extras. One of the main things you get is our Drone service which make your film look much more cinematic. You can see a few shots on the screen right now and you can instantly tell just how much more inspiring the drone can make your wedding film. We also add a steady cam or gimble to your reception. This gives movement and more life to the shots at your reception from how we shoot details, décor and the dance party. Check out a few shots on the screen right now. Another fun thing we can add is a small camera or GoPro to your bouquet as you walk down the aisle. This way you’ll always be able to remember your view as you walk down to get married. We also add 2 songs to your dance party scene instead of just 1 with the last Love Story package. This makes the film longer and more exciting to watch so you’ll be able to see more of your friends and family dancing throughout the night. We also add a Cocktails scene into the film mixed with more parts of your photo and video shoot. Overall this film can easily be 45 minutes to 1 hour and more. If you get this package then every important detail from your wedding will be recorded and I’m confident you’ll have a great time watching it with your friends and family.

I would of loved to watch my parents wedding film in the style we shoot it today or in any way actually because they only had a few Black and White photos to share with us. As you know we offer photography as well and think its very important to have. But I found after talking to couples over the years that they’ll sometimes get 1 or 2 prints framed but they always go back and watch their music video and their wedding film to really relive their day. When you watch your film years from now, I think you’ll be really happy that you decided to get it.

It’s actually one of the top regrets people have after a wedding. There’s something magical about a film when you add the music, editing and scenes together because it captures all the energy, excitement and love that you shared that day. I really think it’s the best way to remember your wedding because as you grow together over the years, one day soon you’ll sit down and want to relive your day all over again. The more years go by the less you’ll remember it. It’s kind of like going to a rock concert and just like a rock concert you were looking forward to for months, your wedding will come and go just as fast.

Then you wake up the next day and think you’ll think to yourself wait “What songs did they play again?

But now we’re talking about your wedding and you want

these memories to last a lot longer than a show. You probably want it to last for the rest of your life so that you can show your kids and sit on the couch and watch it all together. You’ll be able to look back and see how you looked and what you said that day.

We shoot photography as well but again a film can be so much more vibrant than a single photo. You’ll be able to see how you walked down the aisle, hear your vows and speeches, plus watch your dance party all over again. You’ll even be able to show your grandkids many years later.
